Utah Mammoth New Learn to Play Session
The Utah Mammoth is excited to announce the new session of the Learn to Play program at the Eccles Ice Center. This program was created to introduce kids to the game of hockey while building a lifelong love for the sport and the Mammoth community.
What’s Learn to Play?
Learn to Play is a hockey program geared towards beginners, perfect for kids just getting started in the sport. We concentrate on teaching the fundamentals, including skating, stick handling, safety, and gameplay, all with coaches provided by the Eccles Ice Arena to ensure your player feels confident and successful every step of the way.
Who IS IT For?
• Designed for beginners who are just getting started in the sport.

• The program is intended for players ages 5 to 11 years old.

What’s Included
Registration includes a full set of hockey gear that is yours to keep at the completion of the program, along with six sessions of on-ice instruction.
The equipment package provides everything your player needs to get started, including a helmet with a cage, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, pants, shin guards, skates, stick, jersey, and socks, along with a hockey bag to store your gear.
WHEN will i RECEIVE MY GEAR?
After you complete your registration, an email will be sent to you at a later date with information on how to get your player fitted and your gear ordered, so you are ready for the first day of lessons.
